Yesterday a trailer for the Japanese theatrical release of Hayao Miyazaki’s “Kaze Tachinu” (The Wind Rise”) came out. This is Miyazaki’s first film since 2008’s “Ponyo.” The film’s based on a manga by the filmmaker: a fictionalized biography of Jiro Horikoshi, the man who designed the fighter plane used in the attack on Pearl Harbor. There is no American release date planned… hence a lack of subtitles
